Mars Lakeview Arena opened its doors in November 1999. It's been privately owned and operated ever since.
We don't run on city, school district, or youth hockey association funds. Our players, families, teams, and partners keep this rink going. That's why we care so much about two things: the quality of the ice, and the view from the stands.

Driving directions
From the Twin Cities
Take I-35 North into Duluth and use exit 256A for Mesaba Avenue. Follow Mesaba up the hill to the intersection of Hwy 194 and Mesaba, then continue ¼ mile. The arena is on the left.
From the Iron Range
Take Hwy 53 South (Miller Trunk Hwy) past Miller Hill Mall and onto MN-194 Central Entrance. At the intersection of 194 and Mesaba, turn left at the light onto Rice Lake Rd. The arena is on the left.
From the North Shore
Take Hwy 61 into Duluth, then I-35 South to exit 256B for Lake Avenue. Head up Lake Avenue, turn left on 7th Street, then make a quick right onto Mesaba Avenue. Follow Mesaba up the hill to the intersection of 194 and Mesaba and continue ¼ mile. The arena is on the left.
